Yeah, I'm 30

So I am Thirty,
I am little conflicted about that
I have always thought thirty was old, but here I am at thirty. Does that make me old?
I don't feel any older. But I am! I feel I should have done more with my life.
I should have made a difference before now. i don't know what I would have done or should have done but...I don't know I just feel old, but not older. Does that make sense.
Its not like I am getting married or having a child. It is not effecting life life style. But still...I feel like I have failed at something. I didn't live up to something.
I am probably just going crazy or something. Tomorrow will not be any different than today. Well hopefully the weather will be better.

My New Drink

Me and the Bartender at Fenians just made this. And it was good!

I have decided to call it the Midnight Special, mainly because she was cute, it was midnight, and I like that song.

8oz. bourbon,
2oz triple sec,
full the rest of a rocks glass with ginger ale.

What a Night!

Its been an interesting evening!
I invited all types of people to the Heartless Bastards show tonight, and NONE of them came. Yep! I am the King of the Losers. Nobody cares or respects me or my feels. Nope! Anyway enough Piss and Moan.
Anyway, besides that its been a pretty nice day. The weather was good. I didn't have to work today. Even my trip to the Wal-Mart went smoothly.
Plus I got to see one of my favorite band, The Heartless Bastards, live for the first time. They Rocked by the way.
And my football team,The Saints, have advance to the NFC Championship for the first time in team history. I am excited, even if crazy Erin says that my realism is pestism.
Over all the good out weight the bad, but I know the bad will be around longer than the good time I have had.

Telling the story of the most important battle in human history, based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller. This is just going to be awesome.

Hot Fuzz
From the creator Shaun of the Dead, its their take on an action film. It should be really funny.

Grindhouse
From Directors Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez present two full-length movies in a new horror double feature. That alone should be reason to go see this film. Two movies for the price of one.

Hey its 2007

Hey! Its my First Post of the New Year!
What better way than with a picture of me and one of my best buds, Chris Reid!

I admit I straight up stole the picture from his website, but I hope he knows I did it with all the love in my heart.
This was really taken back in november, when he, his lovely wife, his sister and her new husband all came over to Jackson to Rock out with me at a Jimbo Mathus show.
While it was low key, much fun was had by me. Hell we all could have gone to Waffle House and much fun would have been had.
Anyway, I just want to wish anyone and everyone a Happy New Year. I hope your Rocks like I hope mine will.
