Lets hear it for Geology

Anyone who has read or seen the Shawshank Redemption knows that Geology is simple about time and pressure. Geology effects us everyday, even if we don't know it. But yesterday in Vicksburg is effected the whole city. A very small earthquake in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico shifted pipes that feed V'burg is water and caused a break. The whole city was with out water for at least a day. While water has been restored I just got to give a "hoorah!!!" for Geology as time and pressure defeat puny humans again.
