I heard about this a few weeks ago, and forgot to look it up. But now that I have HOLY SHYTE!!!! My favorite band, The Black Keys, playing back up to some of the best Hip Hop artist. People like Q-Tip, Mos Def, Rza, Raekwon, Ludacris, and more. It seems like a strange combo at first. It did to me anyway, but having heard some sample and preview of the stuff. Its just blows my mind. I wish more of Hip Hop sounded like this. The Keys are only playing two shows this year, one of which is Voodoofest in NOLA. I can only hope that are bringing some of this folks with'm.
